Initiates must earn at least 6 points in order to initiate into Tau Beta Pi. Members who want to maintain Distinguished Active Membership must earn 4 points per semester if not leading a committee.
There are three categories of points: social, professional, and service. Each can be earned through various events detailed in the newsletters and Calendar.
