Description
Immediately after initiation our chapter holds a one-hour General Meeting. During this meeting we do a recap of the semester, recognize our Distinguished Active members, award chapter scholarships, elect new advisors (if necessary), and elect new members of the executive board.

Preparation & Administration
- Select a date, time, and location for the meeting and reserve the space if necessary. Advertise the meeting to your members.
- Create a slideshow for the meeting. This will vary by chapter, but it is recommended that each chapter include the following:
- Semester recap
- Member recognition (awards, graduating seniors, etc.)
- Advisor elections (if neccessary)
- Executive board elections
- Since IL-A is a large chapter, to streamline the election process, we send out an interest form before the GM for people wanting to run for executive board positions.
