Description
Champaign-Urbana has several escape rooms, and it’s a popular activity among university students. We used this activity as an executive board bonding social, but it can be done with any members of the chapter. Escape rooms can be expensive (~$25/person), so we recommend having members pay for their own admission for this event.

Preparation & Administration
- Find your local escape room and determine a date and time that works best for everyone. Remember to put in a reservation!
- Make clear to your members whether they are expected to pay or if the chapter is covering the cost.
- Most escape rooms are likely off campus, so coordinate transportation if necessary.
Additional Notes & Resources
- In true engineering honor society fashion, IL-A Exec took 1st place on the leaderboard for their escape room, so there’s a fun goal for y’all to compete with 🙂
