Project Type: Chapter Administration
Project Cost: $0
Project Attendance: Scales with Chapter Size
Description
Members of our executive board hold office hours so that members and initiates can stop by and ask questions. This is especially useful for our initiates who have questions about the initiation process since we have a very large chapter. Illinois Alpha also has an office, so this gives members a chance to stop by and use our office resources such as the printer.

Preparation & Administration
- Executive board officers pick a time that they can hold weekly office hours, and communicate that time to the chapter members
- Reserve a room or pick a space for office hours if your chapter doesn’t have an office or its own designated space
Additional Notes & Resources
- If your chapter has a lot of officer positions, it isn’t necessary to have each person hold office hours since there’s typically not a ton of members that come. The Illinois Alpha positions that have the most people stop by are President, Initiation Coordinator, and Graduate Student Services Chair.
