Description
Info booths are one of the main reasons potential initiates have heard of Tau Beta Pi when they receive the invitation emails. At Illinois Alpha, this includes student organization fairs such as Quad Day, E-Night, and the Women in Engineering (WIE) Resource Fair.

Preparation & Administration
- Determine the date of your university’s resource or student organization fairs. These often occur at the beginning of the semester.
- Gather promotional materials. Order materials from Nationals with enough time for shipping and create chapter posters if desired.
- Have officers or other members sign up for shifts during the event. For our chapter, about 3 people at the booth at a time is good.
Additional Notes & Resources
- Attending information and resource fairs has significantly increased our initiation rates over the past couple of years and decreased the amount of people who think we are a frat or a scam honor society.
