Project Type: Initiation
Project Cost: $0
Project Attendance: Scales with Chapter Size
Description
Our chapter conducts initiate interviews early in the semester so potential initiates can get to know our members and our members can get to know our potential initiates. These interviews are held in our office, so it’s good for potential initiates to see where our office is and see what resources are available to them. We ask them about what their interest are within their major, activities they’re involved in, interests they have, and questions to get to know their character. We also allow them to ask questions and can provide any guidance on the initiation process.
Materials
A list of interview questions is useful to spur conversation between existing members and the new initiates.
