Our Professional Projects VP developed an hour-long LinkedIn workshop which walked attendees through how to set up a LinkedIn account, what to include and how to network on the platform. There was also time at the end for people to socialize and connect with each other.

Preparation & Administration
- Pick a date, time, and location for the event and reserve a room if necessary. Advertise to your members.
- Create a ~40 minute presentation, walking through how to set up a LinkedIn account and the features of the platform. This was created by our Professional Projects VP, but anyone with experience can create it.
- Encourage people to connect with each other after the event, and if your chapter has a LinkedIn page, encourage them to follow that as well.
Additional Notes & Resources
- We’ve also invited other engineering clubs to our LinkedIn workshop, which can be a great way to encourage networking.
